Model horse hobbyists:

If all you want is a place to show off your models then contact me! I do these sites very reasonably!

Since I don't know exactly how many pages you'll need, nor how many graphics will need to be manipulated I can't give you an exact quote...Generally we're looking at $15-$20 per page (price negotiable at this time). With some site formats the pages might run as low as $3-$5.

Some web page designers consider each scroll of a 'page' to be a "page" for billing purposes (eg: this page alone would be considered three pages by most), but I almost always consider it one. However extremely long or intricate pages *might* be charged a tad extra.

Some webmasters only use WYSIWYG-type programs, and in fact some don't even know how to write a line of code by hand. Anyone could do their own page using such programs, which are also often free. ALL pages that I do are hand coded, using Notepad. This means no redundant coding slowing down the loading of your pages, and increasing bandwidth consumption (which means a lot if you're paying for the bandwidth). Some of those WYSIWYG programs toss so much redundant coding into a page that some browsers can't even view your pages!!! Why have a site if nearly half your visitors can't even view it?

I *CAN* and *DO* get your pages up and running nearly as quickly as you can get your info and images to me!

I prefer to do sites with a consistent look. I prefer sites that load quickly, thus a lot of photos will slow it down. Pictures/graphics can be resized and compressed somewhat to keep file size down, which speeds up page loading time. What is nice is to split them up into categories.

While I write pages to be maximized for Microsoft Internet Explorer (unless the customer specifies otherwise), all pages are checked out on Netscape 4.5 (and WebTV if you want). Pages are also written to be compatible with various screen sizes. While they will display best at 800 x 600, I do check them with both major browsers at 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 1024 screen resolutions.

I also insert email addresses in such a way that the address collecting robots do NOT detect your email address and add it to their spam lists.

I also write pages using CSS and XHTML/XML, which is the wave of the future. This means that in a few years you shouldn't have to do a major overhaul of your site.

I will also burn off a CD or other disk with your entire site on it, for safekeeping in case of server or hard drive failure. This means if something happens and your site disappears, it can be back up shortly, instead of spending time and money doing a new site from scratch.

I can set up your site on a free server, such as geocities, or I can help you get it set up on a pay site, with your own domain name. Please note that if your site is on a paid server there will be monthly bills, which are your responsibility, as would be the domain registration.

I am more than willing to trade, in part or in full, for models (OF's, CM's - resins, plastic), tack, customizing, doubloons or kruggerands.

I will also gladly accept PayPal
